BURideShare
A website for members of the Binghamton University community to organize carpooling.
Sharing a ride is a
great way for people to get where they're going while reducing costs
and shrinking their carbon footprint. Organizing people into car
pools, especially for a large organization/community such as a
University, can be challenge. Not everyone knows everyone else, and
with everyone going to and from different places, coordination can be
difficult. That's where the BURideShare application comes in.
BURideShare is an open source web-based application originally written for Binghamton University that allows any large organization or community to maintain it's own private carpooling system.
