Paul McCulloch

About me

Paul McCulloch is a longtime programmer, having begun his career working in Java and frontend development in the early 2000’s. He has worked on commercial and US government projects, as a software engineer and in DevOps and testing roles. After working for several years as a Wilderness Ranger in the beautiful Lake Tahoe region, he returned last year to the challenges of software development, adopting Agile and TDD. As a recent UC BerkeleyX’s Engineering Software as a Service CS169x graduate, he brings a clear understanding of the material and TA requirements. He has a BA in Fine Arts and is broadening his skill set by focusing on backend code development. He can often be found remotely pairing on several AgileVentures projects, including the AutoGrader project that handles homework and test scoring for CS169.x courses.
